These two artistic works, called Fresko Refraction & Rohbau Refraction were created for two seperat exhibitions, but follow the same concept.
One was shown at ︎Highlights Munich 2021, the other on Hi!A: Festival 2021.
The virtual copies of the room in which the artwork is placed, form both the frame and the projection motifs for a glass object, embedded in it. The refractions & reflections of the room detach the details from the spatial background and the content conveyed by it, staging partial areas and distortions of it and creating new situations that form an ongoing dialog between the pictorial elements and the projection body. ︎
